Halloween

October 31st 2012.  Day #334- Today is Halloween!  You’ve been super excited to go trick-or-treating with Charlie Mae!  You were a pink princess, Oscar a frog and Charlie Mae was a cake (cupcake).

October 30th 2012.  Day # 333- Every girl needs some accessories!

October 29th 2012.  Day #332- A few days ago when we were playing outside, you noticed your pink princess potty on a shelf in the garage.  We had it up there because we would sometimes take it with us on our trips to Fertile, so if there was ever an emergency we could pull over and you could go in it.  Anyways, you saw it and wanted it down, and now you love to go potty in it...you do everything all by yourself.  Go potty, dump potty in toilet, rinse out, put away, and wash your hands!  All in your pink cowgirl boots that you wear EVERYWHERE!

October 28th 2012.  Day #331- Tonight we carved pumpkins, you thought it was pretty cool!

October 27th 2012.  Day #330- You just love your role as a big sister...always helping, playing, feeding and watching Oscar.  Today you said to me "Mom, I have an idea!" "I’m going to read to my baby brother...” ok, great idea...but you grabbed Mommy's 'Happiest Baby on the Block' book, went to Oscar and started reading it to him.  He wasn’t very interested, and well you lost interest pretty fast too!

October 26th 2012.  Day #329- Finally, your pink princess dress is here!  You have been looking out the door all week, so when it came and we opened the box all you could say is "Oh my goodness, its beautiful!"  You are the prettiest princess I know; you will be stunning on Halloween (and every day before then!)

October 25th 2012.  Day # 328- Changing clothes is one of your favorite things lately…sometimes changing 5 times a day.  All dresses of course, but never the less it always has to be your decision and you always top it off with shoes or jewelry, that’s my girl!

October 24th 2012.  Day #327- When it was supper time you wanted nothing to do with your dinner...saying "I don't want that!" you ate your grapes and that was it.  The rule is, if you don't eat your supper, then no snack later.  So when you were hungry at bedtime and Daddy came home, you decided you wanted your BBQ then, with dad.

October 21st 2012.  Day #324- Loving all the attention you get at Mama and Papa’s, you are always full of ideas, you love to make a little fort in between the couch and ottoman, tonight I'm not really sure what your plan was.

October 20th 2012.  Day #323- Charlie Mae and Auntie Katie came to Fertile today!  We had a fun time playing and you two girls did a lot of singing and dancing, you love all the VBS songs and ask to sing 'You, You, You' pretty much every day.

Macy turns 3!

October 19th 2012.  Day #322- Tonight we went to Macy's house for her 3^rd Birthday party!  We had a fun time eating dinner, watching Macy open her presents and eating Birthday cake (for you just the frosting).  Macy got a lot of pretty dresses and fun toy's, you waited patiently while the princess castle was put together and had fun playing with that.

October 18th 2012.  Day #321- Since Mommy and Daddy were busy packing our suitcases’ tonight to go to Grandma and Grandpa's for the weekend; I gave you a bag to pack some toys that you wanted to bring.  Taking it very seriously, you started packing all the blocks (which I put a stop to) all your little people, jewelry, princess crowns, shoes, tutu, purse and a few other random things.  We were all ready for the long weekend!

October 17th 2012.  Day # 320- We are working on sharing at our house, usually when I say, "Evelyn, you need to share, Oscar wants to play with you".  You reply, "Mom, I want to play by myself!"  Well, tonight you were VERY good about sharing.

October 16th 2012.  Day #319- Oscar got some Mega Blocks for his Birthday and you just LOVE playing with them....making towers, cars and castles.

October 15th 2012.  Day #318- Making your Birthday wish list by looking at the American Girl magazine...turns out you want it all...we may go broke!

October 14th 2012.  Day #319- It's always hard to get on the road when we are having so much fun at Auntie Alicia and Uncle Tory's house.  It was after 6 when we left tonight, Poppa drove back with us so Mommy got to snuggle in between you and Oscar and watch Veggie Tails.

October 14th 2012.  Day #317- Today we went to Caleb and Erin's wedding in St. Paul, we met up with Grandma and Grandma Block, the Petry's and Raaen's.  You girls were so dressed up and you shared some lip gloss and danced and ran all around.

October 12th 2012.  Day #316- After a long week of you asking when we can go to Auggie’s house, we finally made it!  Grandma and Grandpa picked you up tonight and you got to ride down with them and arrived before Mom, Dad and Oscar.  You were pretty excited girl to sleep on an air mattress in Auggie’s room!

October 11th 2012.  Day #315- Today is your baby brother's 1st birthday!  We had a quiet night at home, mommy made dinner and we opened presents.  We love our little Oscar boy!

October 10th 2012.  Day #314- Auntie Elissa, Brody, Briley and Paisley came to visit tonight.  Mommy cut the boys' hair and colored and cut Auntie's hair.  Daddy was working late tonight so we did all this in the kitchen, we ordered pizza then it was pretty much a free-for-all after that!  Oh brother, we had toys, stickers, and stuff everywhere!  But we had a good time and Mommy got all the hair done!

October 9th 2012.  Day #313- Taking all your babies for a walk around the house.

October 8th 2012.  Day #312- We had a fun day playing today, we spent a lot of time sitting in your tent.  We played babies, Dr., and you put Oscar and Mommy to bed a few times too!

1st birthday party!

October 7th 2012.  Day #311- Today we celebrated Oscar's 1st birthday!!  We had it at Grandma and Poppa Erdahl's house and we had a fun time with family!  Yesterday we were busy decorating for the party, and you just loved it!  You will be VERY ready for your birthday party!

October 6th 2012.  Day #310- Poppa took you outside this afternoon to play in the snow, you two were very busy filling the sleds with snow balls.

October 5th 2012.  Day #309- Today we drove to Fertile for the weekend, Grandma found some more toys for you and Oscar to play with.  The blocks were a big hit!  You were busy trying to get them all in your arms so Oscar couldn't play with them too....little hoarder!

October 4th 2012.  Day #308- Snow!  It’s hard to believe that it is only the 4th of October because this morning it feels more like January!  Snow, wind and ice is what it was like when we looked outside this morning, you loved looking at the snow, mom on the other hand- not so much!

October 3rd 2012.  Day #307- Teaching Oscar how to kiss; you two would kiss, then you would wipe it off and he would laugh...and then you would kiss again!

October 2nd 2012.  Day #306- Princess Evelyn, you love talking about princesses, watching princess movies, and well just being a princess.  Oscar loves watching you!

October 1st 2012.  Day #305- This morning you were busy playing down in you room, you came up stairs to show me something...you made your bed all by yourself!  You were so proud and so was I!
