July 31st 2012.  Day #243-  Playing with the couch cushions, you love to jump and fall!  "Oscar, my man" is what you love to say around Oscar just like Daddy.

July 30th 2012.  Day #242-  Going through the car wash, every time the jets went by you closed your eyes.

July 29th 2012.  Day #241-  When those dang mosquitos bite, they get you right by the eye and they swell up so bad!  This is 2 days later and it’s still swollen, poor girl!

July 28th 2012.  Day #240-  Today is Ski Day!!  Every year we see how many skiers we can get behind one boat and ski around Maple Lake.  Today we got 11 up at one time; they started in the bay and went all the way down the East End and then back again.  Daddy drove the boat this year so here you are waving at him before they started going again.  When we got back to Grandma and Grandpa Blocks we ate a yummy pot-luck dinner.

July 27th 2012.  Day #239-  Tonight we went to Easton's house for his 6th birthday party!!  It was a perfect summer night, you had a fun time playing with your cousins, sitting on Easton’s new bike, hopping on the pogo-stick, watching the kids hit the piñata, and eating cake and ice-cream!

July 26th 2012.  Day #238-  Some days are just plain old hard!!  Something went terribly wrong washing your hands...you didn't even want to rinse them off before you threw yourself on to the ground.

July 25th 2012.  Day #237-  Oscar likes it when Mommy and Daddy dump the water right over his head...you on the other hand, hate it!  You're not so sure about getting your hair wet, or getting water in your eyes, but everything else you seem to enjoy.

July 24th 2012.  Day #236-  Apparently you weren't happy with Daddy, when he went downstairs and left you locked upstairs.  I'm pretty sure you quickly got his attention by screaming DADDDYYY!!!

July 23rd 2012-  Day #235-  After a busy weekend, today we laid low and did laundry, unpacked and made a fort to play in.  Right away you and Oscar played so well together, then you thought it was only a fort for girls...you blocked Oscar out of your door tunnel; he still thought it was a great time!

July 21st 2012.  Day #233-  Enjoying a hot summer day today, you girls love to play together!  It usually goes kinda like this...one of you wants your life jacket on, you all want it on, one wants to swim you all want to, one wants their life jacket off, you all want them off,  one wants a towel, you all want a towel...and so on...

July 20th 2012.  Day #232-  Tonight when we got to Grandma and Poppa's house we went right out to swing!  You and Oscar LOVE to swing high in the sky!

July 19th 2012.  Day #231-  We have had such a DRY summer...our front yard is brown, and our back has long weeds!  Tonight we played outside and watched Daddy mow.

July 18th 2012.  Day #230-  Mommy got you a work book to help you draw from one picture to another.  You had a fun time working on this and practicing your tracing skills and doing some mazes.

July 17th 2012.  Day #229-  Singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Jesus Loves Me, ABC's, Happy Birthday and Jonny Appleseed....these are your favorite songs, and we hear you sing them all the time!

Daddy's Birthday!!

July 16th 2012.  Day #228-  Today is Daddy's 29th Birthday!!  We celebrated by having dinner, watching Daddy open his gifts, and going to Tutti Frutti for frozen yogurt.

July 15th 2012.  Day #227-  By the looks of this picture, you would think it was a chilly day...nope!  After your nap you wanted to sit back and relax, watching the boys swim in the lake,  Yes, it wasn't as hot as yesterday, but it was still in the 80's.  We made one more stop at the Fair today to eat before we went back to Moorhead...yummy!

Fertile Fair!!

July 14th 2012.  Day #226-  What a HOT day today!!  We had so much fun watching the 5K, playing with Charlie and August, swinging, playing in the pool, having all the Swenson's over and finally going to the FAIR!  This is your 1st time at the Polk County Fair!  When we came around the corner and you saw all the rides, you said "WOW, Mommy look!"  When Macy arrived you were even more excited to ride with her.

July 13th 2012.  Day #225-  It's only been 4 days since you've seen Auggie, Auntie Alicia and Uncle Cory....but we were so lucky to see them again!!  We are all at Grandma and Poppa's house for the Fertile Fair and All School Reunion!  So fun to be together again; you were super excited to see them and play with the boys.

Haircut

July 12th 2012.  Day #224-  Mommy wasn't planning on giving you a haircut today, but when I told you that I was going to give Oscar a haircut, you said that you wanted a haircut too.  I haven't trimmed your hair at all since I cut your bangs at 7 months, so thought it wasn't a bad idea.  You were such a big girl and listened to Mommy so well!  When I was done I took the cape off you and you said "Thank you, Mommy!" and ran to look at yourself in the mirror!

July 11th 2012.  Day #223-  You love to sing your ABC's!!  Mommy got you letters to play with and you sang the Alphabet song over and over.

July 10th 2012.  Day #222-  Daddy had Oscar help you go potty tonight...Oh brother!

July 9th 2012.  Day #221-  "Mom, I'm Mommy otay?"  I love it when you play house, you put on your high heels and push your babies around...just like Mom :)

Grandma's Birthday!

July 8th 2012.  Day #220-  Grandma's 61st Birthday today!  We were so happy we could spend the day with her.  Today we enjoyed the beautiful weather and packed up and went back home, we had a fun time at Clear Lake!

July 7th 2012.  Day #219-  If I had to title your vacation over the 4th it would be 'holding it'.  Girl, you hate to miss out on anything, you held it in for so long and would hold your butt...Ugh!  "Evelyn do you have to go potty?"  was asked by everyone, all weekend...you would say 'no', and just hold your butt some more.

July 6th 2012.  Day #218-  Oscar loves this little car,  he would get so excited when he saw it and fell asleep in it a few times too.  It looked like so much fun, you and Charlie Mae wanted a ride too.

July 5th 2012.  Day #217-  Uncle Kent and Auntie Erin got this drum set for August because he LOVES to bang on things.  August shared and let you and your brother jam out a bit too!

4th of JULY!

July 4th 2012.  Day #216-  Happy 4th of July!!   Celebrating America's Birthday in Sisseton, SD.  The Erdahl's have spent the 4th on Clear Lake for years, this is where Poppa Erdahl grew up.  We love coming to Clear Lake to spend time with family and visit with friends we only get to see about once a year.   We all relax, soak up the sun, swim, watch the boat parade, eat yummy food, and watch TONS of fireworks!  Great-Grandma and Grandpa love to watch all you great-grandkids run around.  Uncle Jon, Tracy, Rebecca and Kyle all come and we all have many laughs!

July 3rd 2012.  Day # 215-  Tonight Daddy went and picked up the camper for the weekend.  You thought this was pretty cool.

July 2nd 2012.  Day #214-  The birdies finally found the feeders you made!  All day you kept a close eye on them and enjoyed watching them eat.

July 1st 2012.  Day #213-  On days like today when its humid and in the 90's, there is only one place to be and that's in the lake!  You girls were busy swimming all afternoon and watching the boys knee board, tube and jump off the dock.
